My Homemade Snowman on the Beach – Happy Holidays!
Hello everyone! I just wanted to take the time to wish each of you a wonderful holiday and a Happy Heathy New Year! As you can see, not only do I walk the beach to find treasures, but I put them to good use when it comes to a photographic opportunity. I found some really white rocks while walking on a beach in Rye NH. The whole time I had them in my hands I wondered what I would do with them. I had a brainstorm to pose the rocks into a snowman. I was pretty happy about this seeing that I didn’t have Christmas cards yet. It was a little tough stacking the little buggers with a steady breeze, but I did it….My first snowman on the beach.
I also thought about the symbolism these three rocks hold and I came up with “Faith, Hope and Love”. What better thought could I think of? It’s a meaning I always hold in everything I do. I love the looks of a snowman, so unconditional, loving and just plain cute. The only thing I don’t like is they fade away when the warm weather comes. I guess I could say I’ve invented a snowman that will last…what a concept.
In closing, I hope everyone has a pleasant day with family and friends. So often we don’t see them enough to share their life of successes and failures or even to say that they matter in our lives. Relax and enjoy the day and remember permanent snowman can be made at the beach. I did it!

Absolutely wonderful, Debby. I love how the shadows you captured in the photo accentuate every curve of this beach snowman in the sun! Happy New Year to you!
Thank you Leslie…it started with a few white rocks in my hand, then just blossomed into a snowman. I am so “Spur of the moment” with my creations. I don’t even know when the spirit hits me sometimes:) Thank you for kind words!
Wow!!! Beautiful photo, Debby! I wanna go there!
I hope you had a very merry Christmas and I wish you a Happy New Year. In France we say that we have a month to do so. So basically I’m not late lol
