I had such a great time creating this piece for a gentleman that wanted to give this to his wife for Christmas. The personality of this painting matched up to the happiness of the dog in real life. I am very content with the outcome of this creation. This is a 11 x 14 pastel painting

This is beautiful, Debby. I really am caught by all the nuances of color in the dog’s coat and the “blue” of the eyes. Nice on the shadows that allows for the “light” to glow in this.
I was doing the “happy dance” when I finished this! I felt very accomplished knowing the personality of the dog was woven into the picture. When I met the dog in person, I knew right then, that the shading and lighting was spot on
I’m very happy with the outcome of this painting and so was the customer that purchased it!
