Bones of my painting #2

This is the second picture taken of my beach painting.  I really love everything about it; the background, the shape of the sea life and the full bottle of sea glass.  I am trying to get the colors as real as I can.  I don’t work on my paintings as often as I would like to, but it gives me great therapy to figure out the color theory of  any paintings I do. I also take my time because my heart is into it.  I want people to feel this. I will show another view as soon as my pastels come out again.  Tell me what you think! 🙂

  1. It must be a thrill to add a few strokes to bring something to life.

  2. It is indeed…It will be thrilling to fill it in more in my upcoming vacation too!

  3. You have a beautiful touch with pastels with beautiful results. I tried them once and had a hard time keeping my hands out of where they weren’t supposed to be.

  4. Thank you Ryan! I must admit it was difficult keeping my paws to myself, but trust me, I usually have a damp rag by my side. I think I might have the cleanest space in class:) I have to break that habit for sure.
