Jewelry Designs

This was an enameled piece I created a while back. I was fine tuning my bezeling practices by trying to get the right height, width and corners done right in order to place my enameled creation inside. I also had to get my soldering on target too, otherwise this piece wouldn't stay together or I could have melted the whole piece into one big silver ball with the wrong amount of heat from my torch.
It was a tough piece, but the outcome was pretty cool. This piece has two sides so I can wear it either way, depending on my mood. One side has a heart motif as shown and the other side has an abstract looking vibe.  I love the "duel purpose" of one piece; it allows me to dress it up or down, with a dress or jeans.
When enameling it feels a bit like opening a gift. Even though you have created the design and picked the colors of the creation it could be different when heat is applied to it. Not much different, but it could become a happy accident or just what you want. In any case I love the look and how it's bright like pop art!
